The existing property was a three-bed semi-detached house built in the 1990s which consisted of an open plan living / dining room, a very small kitchen with two double bedrooms and a very small third bedroom.
Our brief was to create a four-bed house suitable for modern family living.
Downstairs we provided a large open plan living / dining kitchen space opening onto the garden with a separate snug, study, WC and entrance porch.
Upstairs we provided two additional bedrooms and converted the existing small bedroom into an ensuite for the master bedroom.
The property was located very close to a substantial Severn Trent sewage drain, which caused issues with the foundations which required piled foundations.
The project was built by our sister company Thorn Homes.
