The existing property was built in the 1940s and consisted of very modest small individual rooms i.e. dining, kitchen and separate living room. Our brief was to convert it into a contemporary designed house with an open plan kitchen, dining / living room which opened onto a covered patio / outdoor dining space. The brief also included a new first floor extension to provide a large master bedroom with ensuite, walk in wardrobes and a Juliet balcony overlooking the garden. We also provided an annexe in the garden to be used as a gym, home office and indoor golf facility.
